Glass, in all its shapes and sizes. Right in front of us but ignored. Passed over. LOOKED THROUGH. Glass is made to be seen through, to allow further vision, to be invisible. Or is it? So many other uses, purposes, functions. Besides windows. All equally ignored. Bottles, floors, dishes, platters, sculptures, art, frames, lenses, glasses, sunglasses.

Windows, shaded windows, large windows, small windows, colored windows.

Doors, doors, doors.

Glass is everywhere. Double pane windows. Glass to insulate, to contain, to hold, to KEEP IN. To separate, the inside from the outside. Us from Them. To help us see, to make clear. To see closer, to see farther. Microscopes and Telescopes. Glass is in all of them. It functions to be so much more than invisible. It makes the invisible visible.
